Hello Caer, my thesis is that as AI and LLM tools speed up the parts of product development, the bottleneck then moves to the marketing/distribution side of the house.

This is great news for marketing places like Medvi https://www.nytimes.com/2026/04/02/technology/ai-billion-dollar-company-medvi.html and Lenny's newsletter https://www.lennysnewsletter.com/, as more products fight for exposure.

As more products come onto the market the customer will turn to trusted resources to cut out the noise. It takes time to build trust with people, which AI helps less with.

That's a great thesis! I'm reminded of something I read recently: In the times before the internet, broadcast stations and labels were the gatekeepers of exposure. When the internet became more established, exposure became free for everyone--but attention became the new bottleneck, which was gatekept by social media platforms and search engines.

Now AI models are becoming the controllers of that attention...I wonder if we'll see a similar paradigm shift soon in terms of what is and is not gatekept by the businesses running these models?
